Tarok is an ethnic group in plateau state, the Northern Nigeria. They are found in Langtang North and South LGAs; their major occupation is farming.

1. Amora or Amuam
Amora has similar characteristics with cocoyam corn and share same recipe to yam porridge.The starchy plant is peeled, sun-dried, and ground into powdered form.
To prepare Amora, you need to add various ingredients such as Liver, rinsed, onion, diced, Fresh pepper, diced, Stock cube, Salt Palm oil, Pepper, Dryfish, diced, Carrots, diced, Peas, Starch. Although many people choose other types of vegetables oil to cook Amora.
